Inspection

Not all diamonds are born equal. While two diamonds can have the same quality and color, they do not necessarily share the same transparency and ability to return light.

When each sealed parcel arrives from the DTC at RAND's factory, each diamond is individually inspected to ensure that it has the characteristics of light return and purity to become a RAND diamond. This hand selection of rough material is the first step in the Quality Control process ensuring that only the highest quality diamonds become RANDS.
