Registering the Provenance

Once a piece of rough is selected as a potential RAND diamond, it is given a unique serial number and photographed.

The serial number is used to track each RAND throughout the entire cutting and polishing process and is inscribed onto the finished diamond.

RAND is the first and only company to offer a diamond "birth certificate," called a Provenance Report, which comes with each diamond purchase, along with a grading report. The unique serial number and photograph of the rough appears on each RAND Provenance Report.
